I had a conversation with someone last night about Martin St, which is located off of Lee St and just a few blocks from downtown. It’s a small street, but one that is widely known for gang activity, drug sales, and public consumption of alcohol – not exactly a lot of positives.
Just under two hours after my conversation a man was shot while sitting on his front porch. More on the unfortunate event can be found here.
