While I was out on a road bike ride Sunday I decided to swing by Phillips Avenue to check on the new trash cans I asked the City to put out. I took a moment to pull over and look inside one of the cans to make sure they were actually being used; while doing so a gentleman approached me and asked what I was looking for inside the can. I explained what I was doing and here is a short video of what he had to say.
Many additional steps are needed to continue cleaning up Phillips Avenue and setting it up for future economic development, but at a minimum, the cans are a step in the right direction.
