Imagine buying your first home only to find out a year or two later that it is going to be bulldozed and that a major highway will run straight through where your living room currently sits. That is exactly what is taking place for some of the residents that live in Quail Oaks, a neighborhood in District 2. Please take a moment and watch the video below.
One of the items listed on the Issues page of my Web site is the following, “When I am on the council I will strive to help make our local government more proactive and less reactive.” This video shows a great example of a reactive situation that could have been avoided had the planning process been more proactive.
