How would you like to live next to the house above? Someone has, in Greensboro, for the last two years. If you are wondering what the house looked like just over a year ago… look at the photo below.
I’ve been following this house for a while and am at least happy that it has now been condemned. I am fully convinced that when we allow homes to sit in such a neglected state for long periods of time that they foster criminal activity and bring down neighborhoods. Homes of this nature either need to be leveled or rehabilitated… but sitting in this condition for two years should not be an option. It’s just not acceptable in my eyes.
One of my goals is to help rid Greensboro of as many rundown/abandon homes (like the one in this post) as possible. Seriously, sit back and ask yourself why a home of this nature should be allowed to stay in this condition for 2+years. I’m yet to find a good answer.
